Appears that summer is in full swing and with that the blissful feeling of mischievous bright colours, a fusion of floral vs. abstract and leather brogues, ankle length boots with crochet socks and toe breathers… I feel a release just by saying the word summer out loud, warmth fills my core and vintage inspired fashion engages with my thoughts. Summer to me is all about the feeling of freedom, sunny days, starry nights and eye-catching garb.

For myself, it’s all about The Vintage Costume or even clothing that has that old-fashioned feel to it. It’s all too quirky and should shriek of playfulness. It’s all about celebrating your youth and how else to do this best, by throwing on something trashed out by the 80’s and re-creating the look all over again. A must however is to add on to this a personal contemporary twist.
