Convoy VIP & Media Preview Event | 26 May 2016

Convoy is a collaboration between 6 proudly South African female designers, each bringing a fresh and exciting design element to this exhilarating shop space in Melville. The space, designed by Architect: Jakob Basson , houses the latest collections from designers Heart & Heritage, Merwe Mode, Selfi, Hannah Lavery (who also works in leather goods & footwear) and W35T , as well as jewellery by Black Betty Design . The official Convoy store opening day will be this Saturday[28 May 2016 09:00-15:00] where you will have the pleasure of meeting all 6 designers while sipping on delicious Mokai & the privilege of shopping some of the best local pieces under one roof. Picnics In The Sky - The newest edition to Mainstreetwalks, which main focus aims to help people rediscover the inner City. The Picnic takes place on the first Sunday of the month, so do book early to get a spot! Image Source : Martina In JOZI This Is How It Works: Step One: Meet at the Market on Main at 11am where you are given a picnic basket with all our picnic utensils, bottled water and a few staple items such as fresh bread. Step Two: 3O mins are given where could then browse around the market and stock up on anything else you would like to eat at our own cost. Step Three: You are then transported to the Carlton Centre and taken up to the 50th floor where you can walk around and view Joburg from this amazing vantage point while listening to chats about the history of various areas.
