I have really become jaded with discussing fashions of the famous. I mean conscientiously can we even rely on their personal style entirely or is it the FAB stylist behind the one who warrants all the credit??? Makes you wonder, even though their style is so influential to our style …everyone interprets and familiarizes to it differently.
With this said I have decided to interview some Local Talent. South Africa is amazing when it comes to the Method of Fashion and we have a certain complexity in our originality to encompass it all.

1. Share with us …a lil bit about yourself?
I’m that short 22 year old girl you mistake for a 12year old… I’m bubbly with a dash of cheeky! I love painting my nails and I’ve recently enjoyed leaving my hair naturally curly (something I avoided ALL my life)… Meeting new personalities is always fun for me, having a laugh with family and friends is my sanity… I’m a coke (a cola) addict. I love the thrill you get out of horror movies and Sunday picnics are always a good idea.
2. What's your favourite and least favourite thing about yourself?
I've grown to love everything about myself, but what I don’t enjoy, is the size of my feet! Im between a size 2 and small size 3… Let’s just say, all my shoes in my wardrobe are a few inches too big.
3. What does your everyday life involve and how do you incorporate your unique style to it?
I work in a corporate, financial environment, so office attire is very professional.
Dressing for work every morning is a challenge I thoroughly enjoy, it puts my style-O-meter to a test and for me… it only inspires new ideas and new outfits.
4. Do you ever dress "normally" and does it make you feel weird?
LOL… I feel wrong! Somewhat illegal! For me, my mood determines the way I dress, but ultimately, dressing up and looking marvellous, elevates ANY mood im in.
5. Your wardrobe is going up in flames; you can only save one thing, what would you save?
WOW this is a tough one… One item? I’d have to go with my entire jewellery box… my JOY!
6. Why is fashion so important to you?
It’s a way of expressing a chunk of my personality without saying a word. I find happiness in bold rings and big bows on my head… maintaining your identity and sense of style means you never lose a part of yourself, no matter what you find “stylish”… for me, that’s important.
7. Who are your biggest style influences?
My top 3!!! Agyness Deyn, Kourtney Kardashian, and my ultimate inspiration, Karla Deras!
8. What are some of the classic pieces you simply cannot live without?
Gotta love the LBD! Timeless classic that will forever be on top of my ranks! Also, my scarves, make me feel French when I pair it up with a classic white shirt. Good jeans also never let me down, I’m a huge fan of the Skinny Jeans, and with the intrepid colours they come in, it’s so hard to have just one favourite! I also, cannot live without my floral pieces! Feel like a lady from a 1950’s flashback!
10. Favourite fashions quote …if any?
“Fashions fade, style is eternal” – Yves Saint Lauren
-=A Huge THANK-YOU to "Lil James" for being the sweetest cupcake ever!=-
