Air Cinema
Club is an open-air movie club anticipated for and by lovers of film. It is an effort
rather than an event and is intended to create a new trend of movie-wise audiences
that learn the art of appreciation for good cinema. The special screenings will
be a night of living the genre of a film - with each event being custom
designed to complement the genre of film being shown.
The venue is the hip Neighbourgoods
Rooftop at 73 Juta Street in Braamfontein and at R120pp ticket holders get
access to the film, as well as a large bean bag to sit on and a serving of
popcorn. A DJ will play a set to set the mood for nightfall and a cash bar will
be available, along with selected food offerings.
The launch of AIR Cinema Club is happening tonight with the open air cinema club's inaugural screening featuring Ken
Loach's Comedy drama "The Angels' Share" which was officially selected
at Cannes in 2012.
If its too late to grab tickets...Reeelax,
AIR CINEMA
CLUB has promised that it will continue once a month indefinitely.
