Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli the heart of The
House of Valentino have been keen to celebrate the fact that Valentino is of Roman
Origin. Being inspired by Italian Pop art from the sixties and seventies and
the work of female artists Giosetta Fioroni, Carol Rama, and Carla Accardi
decorated their mood boards for the collection beheld.
"They were rule breakers," the designers said
beforehand. "Nobody believed that women could be artists."
Truly a grand collection BUT can you ever expect anything less
from Valentino.
